  • 1. Renter (Driver) Requirements

    For standard vehicle models, the renter (driver) must be at least 20 years old and hold a valid driver's license.

  • 2. Must present your identification documents when picking up the vehicle

    For Local Nationals:

    1. National ID card

    2. Valid driver's license

    For Foreign Nationals:

    • If returning the vehicle within 30 days of entry:

    1.  valid international driver’s license issued by a reciprocal country (see list of reciprocal countries)

    2. Original foreign driver’s license

    3. Passport used upon entry

    • If unable to return the vehicle within 30 days of entry:

    1. International driver’s license visa (How to apply for an international driver’s license visa?) or a Taiwanese driver’s license (How to convert a foreign license to a Taiwanese license?)

    2. Passport used upon entry

    3. Hong Kong and Macau visitors must also present their Entry Permit for Taiwan

    4. Japanese visitors must provide a Japanese license translation

  • 3. Car Reservation

    1. The actual vehicle provided will be based on availability at the time of rental; specific models cannot be guaranteed.

    2. If you are more than one hour late for your scheduled pick-up time without prior notice, your reservation will be considered canceled. In this case, the company reserves the right to retain 100% of the deposit and rent the vehicle to another customer. If you wish to change the pick-up date, preferential terms will be discussed separately.

  • 4. Payment

    Payment Methods: Cash, bank transfer, and all major credit cards are accepted, as well as debit cards (cards must be valid for more than 6 months; debit cards are available to local nationals only).

  • 5. Rental Period Calculation, Extension and Overtime, and Excess Mileage Charges

    1. Vehicles are rented on a daily basis, with each rental day calculated as a 24-hour period.

    2. If the vehicle is returned more than one hour late (excluding the first hour), an overtime fee will be charged according to the vehicle type at NT$500 or NT$1,000 per hour. If the delay exceeds six hours, a full day’s rental rate will be charged.

    3. If you wish to extend the rental period, you must notify us and obtain our approval during business hours before the scheduled return time; otherwise, the extension will not be valid.

  • 6. One-Way Rental/Drop-off Charges

    One-way rental and drop-off services are available at all Taiwan High Speed Rail stations. For cross-station returns, a service fee will be charged according to the fee schedule.

  • 7. Reservation Cancellation Fee

    - If the reservation is canceled on the scheduled pick-up day, 100% of the deposit will be charged.

    -  If the reservation is canceled one day before the scheduled pick-up day, 80% of the deposit will be charged.

    If the reservation is canceled two to three days before the scheduled pick-up day, 70% of the deposit will be charged.

    If the reservation is canceled four to six days before the scheduled pick-up day, 60% of the deposit will be charged.

    If the reservation is canceled seven to nine days before the scheduled pick-up day, 50% of the deposit will be charged.

    If the reservation is canceled ten days or more before the scheduled pick-up day, no deposit will be charged and a full refund will be issued.

  • 8. Fuel Policy

    Billing Method:
    During the car rental period, the rental fee does not include fuel costs. Fuel charges will be calculated based on the mileage pricing standard for each vehicle during the rental period.
    ※ Mileage pricing standards are announced quarterly for each vehicle model.
    ※ There is an upper limit on mileage during the rental period.

    Regulations:

    1. The renter must use the fuel card provided with the vehicle to purchase legally sold fuel. If improper fuel use results in vehicle damage, the renter will be liable for compensation.

    2. The fuel tank must be refilled before returning the vehicle. If the tank is not full upon return, a service fee of NT$100 will be charged.

  • 10. Prohibited Items and Activities

    1. Smoking is strictly prohibited in this vehicle, and overloading is not allowed. The following items are also prohibited from being carried in the vehicle:
    (1) Contraband or dangerous items.
    (2) Items that are unclean or likely to soil or damage the vehicle.
    (3) Animals that are not suitable for transportation in the vehicle (only the following animals are permitted: dogs and cats in pet carriers, birds in small cages, and fish or shrimp in small containers).

    If the lessee violates this provision, the company may terminate the rental agreement and immediately reclaim the vehicle. If there is any additional damage, or if the vehicle is soiled, retains odors, or has residual animal hair, the lessee shall be liable for compensation. The repair or cleaning fees will be charged according to the prevailing market rates.


    2. The lessee shall use the vehicle within the agreed scope and shall drive the vehicle personally. The vehicle shall not be used under the following circumstances:
    (1) Permitting or instructing any person without a valid driver’s license to operate the vehicle.
    (2) Engaging in any commercial transportation activities (including carrying passengers or goods for explicit or implicit compensation).
    (3) Overloading the vehicle or using it as a training (learner’s) vehicle.
    (4) Using the vehicle to push or tow any other vehicle or object.
    (5) Modifying the vehicle, using it for racing, or for any experimental purposes.
    (6) Using the vehicle for any activities in violation of the laws and regulations of the Republic of China or for any other illegal purposes.
    (7) Operating the vehicle under the influence of narcotics, hallucinogens, or while intoxicated.
    (8) Obtaining the vehicle from the company through fraud or false statements.

    1. In the event of any violation of this provision, the company may terminate the rental agreement and immediately reclaim the vehicle. If there is any additional damage, the company may claim full compensation from the lessee.

  • 11. The lessee shall be responsible for all related liabilities and expenses

    - During the rental period, the lessee shall carry the driver’s license, compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate, rental agreement, and vehicle registration certificate with the vehicle at all times for inspection purposes.

    - The lessee is fully responsible for paying any fines, parking fees, expressway tolls, or other penalties incurred due to violations during the rental period. If the company pays any such amounts on behalf of the lessee, the lessee shall reimburse the company accordingly.

    - If the vehicle’s license plate, registration certificate, or the vehicle itself is seized, the lessee shall bear all related expenses from the date of seizure until the date the vehicle is released by the motor vehicle authority.

    - For equipment provided free of charge by the company (such as umbrellas) or rented by the lessee for a fee (such as child safety seats, etc.), the lessee shall be responsible for proper custody. In the event of damage or loss, the lessee shall bear the cost of compensation or repair.

    - If, during the rental period, the lessee exceeds the speed limit by more than 40 kilometers per hour, resulting in the suspension of the vehicle’s license plate for three months, the lessee shall, in addition to paying the required fines, compensate the company for six months of operational loss for the affected vehicle.
